"Evening Chores" circa 1950
These barns are part of a long past dairy farm. It's on a road which loops off Route 2 and then back again a few miles along. It's almost as though when travelling this road, one returns to a simpler time when gasoline was 19 cents a gallon and coffee was 5 cents for a cup. I once had the 1950 Chevy pick-up that's in this picture. My daughter named it Reddy Jughead.

I have seen many scenes such as this in the Carribbean as well as here in Maine, in this scene, on North Haven Island. The day is full of sun, wind and spray. Now, as the scene captures, for a quiet anchor to the end of the day.
